We are headed back to North Carolina for our annual
summer trip! We LOVE North Carolina because it has an
abundance of marine life including tons of lion fish, huge
rays, eels, nurse sharks, reef sharks, and more. Sometimes
you see otters at the dock, dolphins and flying fish on the
way to the sites.
Another reason N.C. is an exciting dive destination is the
fantastic wrecks. There are many different types of wrecks
including but not limited to freighters, WWII submarines,
artificial reefs, etc.
The water conditions are great because N.C. has the Gulf
Stream running up the coast making the water warm and
clear. Perfect diving conditions!
Our trip is August 1st - 3rd. We are diving with Discovery
Diving on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will have two
dives per day.
Accommodations are at the Buccaneer Inn in Morehead
City; just a few miles from the shop. Hotel is Thursday,
Friday and Saturday nights with checkout b 2pm Sunday.
The Buccaneer will be providing a continental breakfast.
