Adventure Scuba offers a Refresher Class for people who are certified, but have not have the chance to dive recently or feel a little rusty before going on a vacation.  If you want a chance to review basic skills and get comfortable with your equipment, this may be just what you were looking for. 

Ready for the next step in your diving career? This course is a continuing education program that provides certified divers the opportunity to use their Basic Scuba skills in a variety of scenarios and conditions. We work toward the goal of increasing the divers’ confidence and honing their abilities.  This level of training is typically required for diving off NJ Dive Boats.

You will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. Your instructor will teach you about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of Nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.
