This is where your underwater adventure begins! Our entry level SCUBA course is the first step towards the exciting experience of exploring the underwater world. The course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and proper techniques necessary to dive safely and with confidence. Topics covered include: Equipment, Environment, Physics, Physiology, and Emergencies, as well as technique and skills.

After you successfully complete the classroom and pool sessions, you must make five open water training dives to complete your certification. We perform these dives over the course of a weekend at Dutch Springs (an open water environment designed exclusively for divers). Or you have the option to complete your checkout dives while on vacation through our shop or get a referral and do checkouts on a vacation you already have planned. Adult certification is open to those 15 years and older and junior certification is available for those ages 12-14.

Course Program: 2 nights/week for 4 weeks or 1 weekend
1 open water checkout weekend (5 dives in 2 days)

Checkouts with Us: $175 Checkout Fee (includes instructor fee, certification card and equipment rental)
$70 Dutch Springs Entrance Fee additional ($35/day paid directly to Dutch Springs)

Payment in full is due upon registration. Once you start the course we cannot give a refund if you cannot or do not complete the course. If you cannot come to a class you may reschedule it for a missed class fee of $35. You must complete checkout dives within 6 months of taking a course. Those people not passing class will be offered a reduced price second class.

Personal Gear Required: You must provide mask, snorkel, fins. We recommend but don't require a wetsuit for the weekend class . All active students will receive 10% off personal gear.  When purchasing a package that includes a wetsuit, you receive 15% off.

No other fees. Upon your successful completion of the course and checkout we will issue you a NAUI certification card that is recognized worldwide and is good for life!
