| You can complete your training on either unit with us at Adventure Scuba. Our Megalodon rebreather instructor is Andrew Driver. Andrew is an IANTD Instructor Trainer for all levels of technical, wreck and Trimix diving. He is a Trimix Cis Lunar, Megalodon, Kiss, Evolution and Inspiration Rebreather IT. He has extensive experience with many rebreathers having dived them since 1987 and has owned all the rebreathers he teaches. He has extensive experience in Cave, Wreck, Ice and Technical environments. Andrew is a Hyperbaric chamber operator and instructor. Andrew has been diving for 20 years, has traveled, sailed and dived in 45 countries. After graduating from Britain's CTCRM Officer Training Wing, Andrew served eight years as an Officer in the elite Royal Marine Commandos. He served on various appointments and operational tours during which time he received extensive training in parachuting, Arctic survival and combat swimming with oxygen rebreathers. He was a member of the British National parachute team and commanded the world record holding Royal Marines Free Fall Team from 1989 to 1992, accumulating 1800 jumps. He was manager and member of the British four way rotations team at the World Parachute championships. He is also a UK licensed master of motor and sailing vessels up to 200 gross tons and has sailed over 30, 000 miles, including two Atlantic sailboat crossings. Andrew's background gives him tremendous expertise in operational and logistical planning, first aid and survival skills that he puts to use organizing and leading the expeditions. |
