| Yes, KISS stands for Keep It Simple System. The design is clean and simple. The controls are simple, easy to use and understand. O2 injection is performed by a metered orifice (sometimes call the leaky valve system). The manufacture, Jetsam builds two versions of the KISS, the Classic and the Sport. Both units feature: The Jetsam industry standard KISS valve. This injects O2 into your breathing loop at your resting metabolic rate. Back Mounted Counter Lungs: These allow for easy breathing and ease of donning the unit. Redundant P02 displays: The Standard displays are triple redundant, cells, batteries, cables and housings. Automatic Diluent Valve (ADV): This is standard for all KISS units. Bail-out Valve (BOV): Jetsam was the first to make the standard for safety The Sport KISS was designed with travel in mind. The entire unit folds down to fit within the metal counter lung case. The mounts for Dil and O2 allows you to use just about any size tanks available at your destination. The unit is light, easy to clean and maintain. The Classic KISS is designed for harsher/deeper diving conditions. All water seals are double o-ring. Valves and hoses are protected by the counter lung case. Options available to both units include: 15 or 22 inch hoses 4,6,or 8 liter counter lungs Optional integrated VR3 dive computer.
